Exec

EXEC (or EXECUTE) runs one of the built-in System Procedures. Parameters are passed in parentheses; the parentheses can be omitted when there are no parameters. Procedure names are not case-sensitive.

User-defined procedures

User-defined stored procedures are not currently available, see Alter Procedure. EXEC with a name that is not a system procedure fails with "Procedure not found".

round-pushpin Runs a procedure without parameters.
EXEC ShowProcesses

round-pushpin Runs a procedure with a parameter.
EXEC ShowLocks(1)

SQL :: Alter Procedure
User-defined stored procedures are not currently available.
SQL :: Cancel
Cancels (rolls back) the transaction of the given process, leaving the process connected.
SQL :: CheckpointHealthCounters
Writes the health counters to disk. This is useful when monitoring performance and you need the metrics in the health JSON file.
SQL :: ClearCacheAllocations
Empties the engine's memory cache. The memory is kept allocated for future cache use; call ReleaseCacheAllocations afterwards to return it to the operating system.
SQL :: ClearHealthCounters
Resets the health counters tracked by the engine. This is helpful when performance tuning.
SQL :: Keywords
A breakdown of all of the statements and keywords supported by the query processor.
SQL :: Print
Evaluates an expression and returns the result as a message with the query results.
SQL :: RefreshMyRoles
Reloads the role memberships of the logged in account. Roles are cached at login, so run this after your memberships change instead of logging out and back in. The roles are returned as messages.
SQL :: ReleaseCacheAllocations
Returns unused cache memory to the operating system. Call ClearCacheAllocations first to release as much memory as possible.
