Alter Schema
Schemas are containers for documents, indexes and other schemas. Schema names are nested with colons: WordList:Word is the Word schema inside the WordList schema.
- CREATE SCHEMA creates one schema; its parent must already exist. Create each level in turn to build a nested path. Creating a schema that already exists does nothing.
- DROP SCHEMA deletes a schema with all of its documents, indexes and child schemas. Dropping a schema that does not exist does nothing.
- ALTER SCHEMA is accepted but has no settings to change.
